I’ve ridden Gus a lot, showed him at lots of shows,
good minded, took him to my birthday party in a freight elevator up 5 floors and rode him through 300 people. What a great horse! He’s 17, healthy and a good stud. No horse has won more.Jaborrs Impack is no stranger to the rose garlands and ribbons of a champion. “Gus” as we call him, has been very successful in his Arabian reining career. He has received every National Championship title in the open division and has been named Champion at Youth Nationals twice. His wins at the Class A and Regional level in the open, amateur and youth divisions are countless.
Most pure Arab Reiners are what we call buck shots. They can’t do halter, English, hunter so they try reining. They don’t come from a long line of reining blood like in the quarter horse breed. So the chances of them duplicating them selves are small because their daddy was a halter or hunter horse. What it Takes is the son of an incredible horse out of Keimosabi, Western Horse. No question What it Takes is a great Reiner. He could compete with the quarter horse. So, we bred him to see what he produced and now breed to proven reining quarter horse mares. Home Run!! We raise about 10 of his babies a year.
